Gerry Pack started Holiday Extras in 198 as Apple Booking Company. The premise of the company was to provide an easy way to find airports that were not only affordable but close to the airport. Apple Booking Company started with providing individuals information about three star hotels near Heathrow, Gatwick, and Luton airport. From the beginning Apple Booking Company would be successful in finding people decently priced airport hotels, this would catalyze further growth. In 1986 Apple Booking Company began to provide Holiday Extras travel insurance for people who had to cancel their bookings/end their trips early. By 1988 the company started to Apple Booking Company would adopt parking spots close to the airport for people who were driving in the city or people who had rental cars. Today Holiday Extras has secured ownership of many surface parking lots near airports, helping to assure Holiday Extras customers get spots near airports. With much success the company would change names to highlight what they were about. The name change would be ABC Holiday Extras however, in 200 the company would drop the ABC name all together.

Cancellations with Holiday Extras:
Cancellations with money returned is available to those willing to sign a cancellation waver. The cancellation waver has been put into place to keep customers feeling safe from any sudden changes to plans. Cancellation waivers will cost 1.49 for a parking cancellation waiver and 2.49 for a hotel and hotel parking cancellation waiver. On top of the cancellation waiver customers will be billed 9.50 for parking, and 15 for hotel. All other money will be refunded once the cancellation request has been accepted.
Customers with a cancellation waiver can cancel at any time up until 24 hours of the reservation.
Customers cancelling less than 24 hours before their reservation or customers without cancellation insurance will be held accountable for the total amount due with no money reimbursement available.
